I decided to study in Denmark together with my boyfriend. We were attracted by the country's education system, the opportunity to study without tuition fees, and a programme that matched our interests.

The application process was not complicated, but it did require some preparation. I had to complete several steps, including writing a motivation letter, passing an English language test, and participating in an interview with the university.

Throughout the whole process, Kastu was there to help. They answered all my questions, guided me through the application requirements, and helped me complete my application correctly.

The first months of studying abroad were exciting. Everything was new—the environment, the people, and the way of learning. It took some time to adapt, but I quickly started enjoying this new experience.

What I like most about studying in Denmark is the freedom and trust students receive. During projects, lecturers give us space to develop our own ideas and find solutions. There are also fewer lectures compared to what I was used to, which gives more time for independent learning and teamwork.

Overall, my experience has been exactly what I hoped for—and even better.

If you are finishing high school and wondering whether studying abroad is the right choice, my advice is simple: explore different study programmes, find something you truly want to study, and go for it!

You will meet people from all over the world, improve your English, become more independent, and create memories you will never forget.

And yes—you will also have a pretty exciting answer when someone asks where you study!
