The world needs next-generation leaders who can identify opportunities, turn ideas into action, and drive sustainable growth. This programme equips you with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to make that impact.

You will explore topics such as creativity and business creation, innovation and transformation, sustainable scaling, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Along the way, you will strengthen your critical and creative thinking, digital fluency, and ethical responsibility. Our education is grounded in a Nordic approach that emphasises sustainability, equality, innovation, and long-term value creation.

The programme welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds beyond business. As long as you hold at least 15 ECTS in business administration, you can build on your unique perspective while gaining advanced expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation.

From ideas to impact

At JIBS, theory and practice are closely connected. You will learn in a collaborative, professional environment that’s both stimulating and fun. It’s a place where you can try out entrepreneurial ideas, connect with funding agencies, and join competitions and other activities supported by Science Park Jönköping.

Through applied projects dealing with real-world challenges, you’ll sharpen your ability to start a business, as well as design, implement, and manage innovation processes in an engaging and safe space that encourages you to step outside your comfort zone. The programme concludes with a 15-credit master’s thesis, where you apply your knowledge to a focused topic in entrepreneurship or innovation.

Important requirements

The applicant must hold the minimum of a Bachelor's degree (i.e the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 15 credits in business administration.

With a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, you will be ready to launch your own venture or take on roles such as business developer, innovation manager, or change leader in start-ups, corporations, public organisations, or NGOs. Your ability to combine creativity, analytical skills, and responsible leadership will make you well equipped to drive sustainable growth and transformation.

You may also choose to continue into doctoral studies and an academic career.

Graduate as an entrepreneur and innovator — prepared to turn ideas into action and create lasting impact in business and society.
